Experience: Fresher (0–1 year)

Role Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented freshers to join our Software Testing team. As a Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to kickstart their career in the field of software quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Case Creation:
    • Develop and document test cases based on functional requirements and design documents.
  2. Manual Testing:
    • Execute manual test cases across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
    • Identify, record, and track software defects.
  3. Automation Testing (Optional for freshers but great to learn):
    • Learn and assist in creating automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  4. Bug Tracking and Reporting:
    • Use tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello to log and manage defects.
    • Communicate testing progress and results to the development team.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with developers and product managers to understand features and functionalities.
    • Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and testing strategies.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Verify that the application meets functional, performance, and security requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Knowledge of testing types (e.g., functional, regression, integration, system testing).
  • Familiarity with any testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level).
